Description: 

Greyish brown with body and legs covered in minute scales.

Size: 

8-13 mm

Wings: 

Wingless.

Stridulation: 

None, as the species has no wings.

Food: 

Omnivorous, feeding on decaying plant and animal matter.

Habitat: 

Restricted to eastern half of Chesil beach in Dorset, Branscombe in Devon, and Marloes in Wales.

Phenology: 

Nymphs have been recorded in April, adults from August to October.
