Hi
I am working on an auotmatic monitoring system for logging sleckeld-bush cricket calls. We (in Yorkshire) have 2 colonies relatively close to York - North Cave and Hull. Last year there were lots of calling males but I had a good look last Friday at both sites and there weren't any calling males, nor could I find any insects at all.
Have adults been seen/heard yet in the rest of the country? I wonder if the bad weather has had an adverse effect on this species. Any insights very welcome.
