Hi All,

I've been approached by NT [via WSBRC] with a view to possibly taking over monitoring of the Wartbiter colonies at Calstone Coombes in Wiltshire. The previous worker, John Shaughnessy, has totally dropped out of communication since 2009 so no information has been forthcoming since then. The only problem is, I have no prior experience of population monitoring of Orthoptera so was wondering if anyone on this forum has carried out this sort of work and can advise me of what to do [the NT officer has no experience either...!] Or even knows John Shaughnessy and what his current situation is?
