Desert Locust (Schistocerca gregaria)

This IS a Destert Locust (see link below), isn't it? I photographed it in the middle of Christchurch Park, Ipswich on the rainy morning of 26 Sept. I guess it is an escapee rather than the result of the high winds that were prevalent a few days before my sighting. I posted the record with the photos here, but so far they haven't been verified...
